A sniffer dog has busted a man with $500,000 worth of ICE hidden in his underpants at Hobart Airport.
The 32-year-old New South Wales man was arrested on Sunday 7 May after a Drug Detection Dog gave a positive indication to the man, who had just arrived on a flight from Sydney.
Police said a subsequent search of the man detected a package concealed in his underwear.

A later examination of the package revealed it to be 522 grams of the drug methamphetamine, commonly known as ‘ICE’.
The man was charged with one count of Unlawfully Importing a Controlled Substance and one count of Trafficking in a controlled substance.
The man appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Monday and was remanded in custody.
