A MAN has been charged after he was allegedly caught driving almost five times the legal limit at Ormeau.
Police were conducting patrols on Burnside Road around 8.00pm on Friday, when they spotted the ute leaving the car park of a licensed premises.
It’s understood the driver of the ute was swerving across the road and stalled the vehicle at a round-a-bout.

Police pulled the car over and breath tested the driver, who alleged returned a breath alcohol concentration of .241%.
The 26-year-old Slacks Creek man was charged with one count of high-range drink-driving.
He is due to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on June 1, 2018.
