Man busted showing off his ‘python’ on NSW train

A 20-year-old man has had his pet snake confiscated after revealing it to fellow passengers on a Central Coast train today.

Police say that about 1.00am, officers were called to Woy Woy Railway Station following reports there was a man with a live snake onboard a train.

The man allegedly produced the three-feet long jungle python from a backpack and began to show it off to fellow passengers, who then phoned police concerned for the snake’s welfare.

The snake, named Bread, was confiscated by police and taken to Woy Woy Police Station where it is expected to be examined by staff from a reptile park today.

Investigations are continuing.
