Man chagred with murder after body found in NSW unit

A man has been charged with murder after the body of a man was found in a Sutherland unit on Tuesday.

Police were called to a home unit on Robertson Street just after 2.00pm where they found the body of a man, believed to be aged 60.

Officers set up a crime scene and Strike Force Carslake was formed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

A 50-year-old man was arrested about 3.15pm and was taken to Sutherland Police Station where he was charged with murder.

He’s been refused to appear in Sutherland Local Area Court later today.

The deceased is yet to be formally identified.
