Man charged after exposing himself to women and committing bestiality on dog

Police have charged a man who allegedly exposed himself to two women and assaulted their dogs in Sydney’s west last month.

About 1pm, Sunday 9 August 2015, two women aged 20 and 23, were walking their dogs on the Canal Walkway, Greystanes.

They were allegedly approached by a man on a pushbike that started speaking to them before allegedly exposing himself and assaulting one of the dogs.

He allegedly attempted to commit bestiality on the other dog.

The women quickly left the area and contacted police.

An investigation was commenced by police from Holroyd Local Area Command resulting in the arrested of a 39-year-old man at Merrylands Police Station yesterday (Monday 31 August 2015).

He was charged with attempted bestiality and act of indecency.

He was refused bail and will appear in Fairfield Local Court today (Tuesday 1 September 2015).
