Man charged after kicking trainee guide dog in random attack

A man has been charged with animal cruelty after he is alleged to have randomly lashed out at a guide dog in training in Sydney’s wast this morning.

Police were called to High Street in Penrith just before 10.00am on Thursday, following reports a dog had been kicked by an unknown man.

“Officers have been told a woman/man was training the dog at the time of the incident,” NSW Police said in a statement.
