DETECTIVES have charged a 29-year-old man with child exploitation offences after striking up an online conversation with what he thought was a teenage girl.
It all started in October last year, when officers from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad’s Child Exploitation Internet Unit began engaging online with the man from Sydney’s south.
Police will allege in court that the 29-year-old through he was talking to a 14-year-old girl and engaged in conversations about sexual acts he wished to perform on the child.
