Man charged after stabbing flatmate in Qld home

A man has been charged after he allegedly stabbed his flatmate at a property in Beenleigh.

Police were called to the home around 6.40pm on Friday after the two flatmates got into an argument, leaving one with a stab wound to his chest.

A 48-year-old man was rushed to Logan Hospital where he remains in a stable condition this morning.

A 54-year-old man has since been charged with one count of attempted murder.

He will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
