A MAN has been charged following the suspicious death of a woman south of Sydney.
Emergency services were called to a Wollongong unit around 7.30pm on Saturday following reports a woman had died. Paramedics were unable to revive the 36-year-old.
A man, 34, was then arrested at the scene and later charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He will face court today.

A crime scene has been established and is being examined by specialist forensic officers.
A post mortem examination will be conducted in coming days to determine cause of death.
A report will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
