Man charged over alleged aggravated sexual assault of teenage girl

A 24-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl in Sydney’s northwest.

Police said the 15-year-old victim was allegedly sexually and indecently assaulted by the man at a house in Castle Hill on Wednesday, December 13.

The girl reported the incident to police, triggering an investigation by the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad.


Following inquiries, the 24-year-old man was arrested at the Castle Hill home on Friday.

He was taken to Castle Hill Police Station where he was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault, indecent assault of a child under 16 and committing an indecent act.

The man was bail refused to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today.
