A MAN has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of almost a dozen children north of the Gold Coast.
The 26-year-old man from Loganholme allegedly assaulted 11 children in the Kingston area over an 18-month period between April 2016 and September 2017.
Following a protracted investigation, detectives from the Logan Child Protection and Investigation Unit arrested the man this week.

The 26-year-old has since been charged with 25 counts of indecently treating a child under the age of 16.
He is due to front Beenleigh Magistrates Court on February 9.
Details of the alleged assaults or the exact locations where they took place have not yet been revealed.
It is also not known if the man knew or had access to the children, or whether they were chosen at random.
