Man charged over alleged theft of cattle in NSW

A MAN has been charged with allegedly stealing cattle from sale yards in northern NSW.

The 33-year-old was served by Rural Crime Investigators after they executed a warrant at a Leeville property on Tuesday 16 February.

During the search, officers located and seized two steers (castrated male cow) which were reported to have been stolen from a Casino sale yard on Wednesday 3 January.


The man has since been served a Field Court Attendance Notice for the offence of steal cattle.

He is due to appear at Casino Local Court on Wednesday 28 March.
