Man charged with attempted murder in Brisbane
Detectives have charged a Singaporean man over a murder attempt at Norman Park in Brisbane on May 8.
It will be alleged at around 9.30pm a 20-year-old woman was hit in the head with a hammer and stabbed multiple times at a Norman Avenue residence.
Police say the man then left the scene.
The woman was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 31-year-old Singaporean man has been charged with one count of attempted murder.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
