Woman dies in hospital, two days after alleged domestic violence attack
UPDATE @ September 29, 10.00am: A young mother has died in hospital, two days after she was critically injured in a shocking domestic violence attack on the NSW Central Coast.
Just after 7.00pm on Tuesday, police were called to a home at Ettalong Beach where they found a 35-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries.
Police performed CPR until paramedics arrived and rushed the woman to Gosford Hospital, where she died on Thursday night.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at the home following the attack and taken to Gosford Police Station where he has was charged with attempt to strangle/suffocate with intent to murder.
He is due to appear at Gosford Local Court on Friday 24 November, where his charges are expected to be upgraded to murder.

He was refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court today.
