Man charged after dangerous hallucinogenic drug discovered during raid

A man has been charged with multiple drug offences following a raid on a Gold Coast home this morning.

The 26-year-old man was arrested after detectives from the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at a Bonogin address.

During the raid, police uncovered a quantity of dangerous drugs including an amount of the hallucinogenic drug Dimethyltryptamine (DMT).

The man is due to face Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow on a number of drug related charges including produce and possess dangerous drugs.
