Man charged after drugs and cash found in Surfers raid
A man has been charged after dangerous drugs and cash were found inside a Surfers Paradise apartment on Thursday morning.
Taskforce Maxima detectives investigating links to the Nomads OMCG, executed a search warrant at the Ferny Avenue complex where they seized a quantity of GHB, pipes, scales, documents relating to the supply of drugs and money.
A 27-year-old Ashmore man was charged with seven offences including one count each of drug trafficking, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing items used in the commission of a crime and possessing drug utensils.
He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on August 11.
