Man charged over four alleged child approaches in Sydney

A man has been charged after he allegedly approached four girls in Sydney’s north-west over the weekend.

The incidents all occurred within 3 hours of each other on Saturday, in streets within Cherrybrook and Normanhurst.

The 42-year-old man targeted girls aged between 12 and 17.

He was arrested shortly after the last alleged incident and charged with Commit act of indecency on person under 16 years (two counts) and Commit act of indecency on person over 16 years.

He was refused bail and appeared in Parramatta Bail Court yesterday.

The man was again refused bail and will be held in custody until his next appearance in Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 20 July.
