Man charged after GC KFC employee terrorised by armed bandit
A man has been charged after he stormed a KFC at Labrador while armed with a knife last Tuesday.
Around 10.30am, the armed bandit, who was wearing a stocking over his head, barged into a backroom of the fast-food restaurant and threatened a female employee with the weapon.
He then took off with the employee’s handbag after he failed to gain money from the till.
A 32-year-old man from Southport has been charged with armed robbery and enter premises with intent.
He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court today.
