Man charged with indecently assaulting two women on Sydney train

A man has been charged after allegedly indecently assaulting two women on a Sydney train.

Police say that about 5.45pm on Saturday, a 24-year-old woman was on board a train between Parramatta and Strathfield when a man sat next to her and made sexually suggestive comments to her.

He then inappropriately touched the woman.

Just hours later, officers arrested the 49-year-old at Strathfield Railway Station.

Further investigations revealed the man had also allegedly assaulted another woman.

He was charged with two counts of assault with act of indecency and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Thursday 28 July.
