Man charged with indecently assaulting woman at bus interchange

A man has been charged with indecently assaulting a woman at a bus interchange in Sydney’s south-west.

Police said the 19-year-old woman got off a bus at the Liverpool bus interchange around 8am on Thursday where she allegedly became engaged in a conversation with a 30-year-old man.

The man allegedly grabbed the woman around the chest as she went to walk away and indecently assaulted her.

Police said the man was known to the woman.

Officers arrested the man at his address yesterday afternoon.

He was taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was formally charged with committing an act of indecency and assault with act of indecency.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on 23 September.
