Man charged over Melbourne truck stop murder
A man has been charged with murder after he allegedly beat a man to death at a truck stop in Melbourne and dumped his lifeless body at the local hospital.
The 28-year-old victim was Hoppers Crossing was attacked in a truck parking area at the rear of a service station in Sunshine Avenue at Kealba on 3 July.
He was then dropped off at a hospital in Werribee where he died shortly after.
Following investigations, Homicide Squad detectives yesterday arrested and charged a 30-year-old Brooklyn man with one count of murder.
He appeared at an out of sessions hearing and was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
