Man charged with murder of British MP Jo Cox
British Police have charged a man over the horrific killing of much-loved politician Jo Cox.
Thomas Mair has been in custody since the alleged attack on a street in northern England on Thursday.
Ms Cox was attending a meeting in her electorate of Birstall when allegedly set upon by Mair who Police say stabbed her a number of times before shooting her three times.

The 52-year-old will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today charged with murder, grievous bodily harm and possession of a firearm.
Tributes continue to flow for Ms Cox, who leaves behind a husband and two young children.
She has been described as a ‘rising star’ of the Labour Party and someone who was ‘full of life’ and always fighting for her beliefs.
