A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder after a man aged in his 60s was found dead inside a western Sydney home.
The man’s body was found with “obvious signs of injury” in the Bass Hill home at around 11.30am on Friday.
Police swooped on the suburb and locked down the area, declaring it a crime scene, as they combed through the house and surrounding streets in search for clues.

Officers in blue forensic suits spent the majority of the day combing through the house for clues while dozens of police, including members of the Riot Squad, conducted a line search of a nearby field.
Investigators said the victim was one of four people who lived in the shared rental property and was last seen alive in the Buist Street house on Thursday night.
Last night at around 7.30pm, a 29-year-old man attended Bass Hill Police Station to assist police with their inquiries. He was later arrested and charged with murder.
It’s believed the victim and his attacker were known to each other.
The 29-year-old man was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today.
