A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged over the murder of Melbourne teenager Cayleb Hough whose body was found dumped in a shallow mineshaft earlier this year.
The 17-year-old boy’s remains were found in the Lerderderg State Park at Bacchus Marsh, around 50km west of Melbourne’s CBD, on Thursday 10 March.
Detectives from Victoria’s Missing Persons Squad arrested a 28-year-old man from Kawarren on Friday.

He was officially charged with one count of murder yesterday.
He faced Melbourne Magistrates Court this morning where he was remanded in custody to re-appear on Thursday 2 June 2016.
