A man who allegedly punched another man to the ground in Sydney’s west overnight has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Police and paramedics were called to a licensed premises on Bronte Road in Waverley just after 10.30pm following reports that a man had been assaulted.
It’s understood two men, aged 34 and 42, and a woman were arguing when the younger man allegedly punched the older man in the face.

The punch caused the older man to fall to the ground and hit his head.
Police said the 42-year-old sustained lacerations to his head and bruising to his face.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported to Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment.
The 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Waverley Police Station for questioning.
He has since been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Granted bail, the man will appear in Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 3 August.
