Man charged with alleged historic child sex offences near Wagga Wagga, NSW

AN elderly man’s been charged with historic child sex offences after two boys were allegedly raped at a church youth organisation near Wagga Wagga in south-west New South Wales. 

It’s alleged that the 79-year-old man sexually assaulted the two boys, aged 12 and 14, in Temora between 1974 and 1978.

He was today arrested at Wagga Wagga Police Station where he was charged with nine offences, including eight counts of procure indecent act with male and one count of buggery.


He’s been granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Temora Local Court on Wednesday November 26.
