A man has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted a young girl while visiting her family home on the NSW Central Coast.
Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad launched an investigation after receiving reports a young girl had been sexually assaulted by a man known to her in the early morning of Sunday 24 January.
Following inquiries into the alleged assault, detectives arrested a 22-year-old man at a home at Killarney Vale about 1.30pm yesterday.

The man was taken to Wyong Police Station and charged with sexual intercourse with a child (aged between 14-16), intentionally sexually touch a child (aged between 10-16) and intentionally incite child to do sexual act (aged between 10-16).
He was refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court today.
