Man charged over alleged supply of drugs in Murwillumbah

A man has been charged with a string of offences following an ongoing investigation into the alleged supply of drugs in the Murwillumbah area.

The 32-year-old was arrested yesterday after police raided a home on Riverview Street, where they allegedly uncovered cannabis, methylamphetamine, MDMA, cash, prescribed restricted substances and items associated with the supply of prohibited drugs.

The man was arrested at the scene and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station.


He has been charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug greater than indictable quantity, three counts of possess prohibited drug, two counts of possess prescribed restricted substance, and one count of deal with the proceeds of crime.

The man was refused bail to face Tweed Heads Local Court today.

Investigations are ongoing.
