Man charged over ‘indecent treatment’ of Gold Coast schoolgirl

A Logan man has been charged over the alleged indecent treatment of a 7-year-old girl outside a Gold Coast school.

Police allege the child was at an educational facility on Alexander Drive in Highland Park around 4.30pm on Tuesday when she was approached by a man from a nearby bus stop.

“After a short conversation, the man allegedly indecently touched the girl before he was interrupted and fled on a bus,” Queensland Police said.
