Man charged over vending machine thefts
A MAN has been charged with a long list of offences following a month-long investigation into a series of vending machine thefts at railway stations across Sydney’s south-west.
Initial investigations indicated the thefts were linked and the offenders were allegedly using stolen vehicles with stolen number plates.
Following extensive inquiries, a 45-year-old man was arrested at a home in Belar Avenue, Villawood, about 6.35pm on Friday and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with 39 driving and property offences.
