Man charged over violent stabbing
A MAN has been charged with attempted murder following a violent altercation at Woodridge on Tuesday night.
Police say he stabbed a man in the chest during a fight in an altercation in Elkhorn Street around 7.15pm.
The injured 25-year-old Woodridge man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
A 19-year-old Woodridge man has been charged with attempted murder and is expected to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates today.
