Man charged over wilful damage, Nerang

Police have charged a man following an incident at a service station at Nerang last night.

It is alleged around 10.10pm a man entered the Spencer Road business and used a hammer to smash three windows.

Police were called by the service station attendants and the man was taken into custody.

An 18-year-old man from Carrara has been charged with wilful damage and is expected to face Southport Magistrates Court on April 22, 2015.
