A MAN in his 40s from South Australia has been arrested and charged with several child sex offences.
Detectives from the Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET) arrested the Adelaide man on Thursday.
He was charged with aggravated indecent assault and aggravated production of child exploitation material.

It will be alleged that the victim of the assault was a child under the age of 14 years and the exploitation images he is accused of producing also included depictions of children under the age of 14 years.
In a statement, the Australian Federal Police stressed the images were “exploitation material” and not “child pornography”, as the latter term actually benefited child sex abusers.
“It indicates legitimacy and compliance on the part of the victim and therefore legality on the part of the abuser,” the AFP said.
“It conjures up images of children posing in ‘provocative’ positions, rather than suffering horrific abuse.
“Every photograph captures an actual situation where a child has been abused. This is not pornography.”
The AFP said the man has been released on bail to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on October 10.
