A NERANG man has been charged after allegedly robbing a 19-year-old man at gunpoint in Broadbeach.
It’s alleged the 27-year-old man attended the victim’s Rio Vista Boulevard unit armed with a gun on Friday December 23 and robbed him of a stack of cash.
Police said the man also attended the victim’s unit between 16 and 21 December and allegedly made demands for money from the same resident.

The 27-year-old man from Nerang has been since been arrested and charged with armed robbery and attempted robbery.
He face Southport Magistrates Court today where he was refused bail and remanded in custody to reappear on 19 January.
Detectives from the Southern Investigative Group are investigating whether these incidents are linked to the hit-and-run death of a man at a unit on Rio Vista Boulevard on Boxing Day.
