A MAN wanted over a series of smash and grabs on the Gold Coast has been arrested and charged by police.
The 33-year-old is accused of breaking into several businesses including a cafe, hardware store, takeaway store, carwash, tile business and restaurants between September 4 and September 7.
The Marsden man has been charged with nine counts of burglary and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and receiving tainted property.

The man made a brief appearance at the Southport Magistrates Court on Saturday, where he was remanded in custody to reappear at Southport again on September 21.
