Man charged with stealing 150 goats from NSW farm

A MAN has been charged with stealing more than 150 goats from two separate farms in western NSW.

The 21-year-old is accused of taking 150 goats from a farm 20km west of Cobar in February this year.

The man is then alleged to have taken another nine goats from a property near Nyngan on November 11.

Rural crime investigators yesterday morning arrested the 21-year-old at Nyngan Police Station.

He has since been charged with two counts of stealing stock and one of malicious damage.

The young man was refused bail to appear in Dubbo Local Court today.
