Man charged over theft of more than $100K worth of power tools

A man has been charged following investigations into the theft of more than $100,000 worth of power tools across Sydney.

Police said that in July this year, officers began investigating the sale of stolen power tools on a classified ads website.

It’s alleged the tools were stolen from cars in various locations including Camden and Hornsby.

A 29-year-old man has since been charged with recklessly deal with proceeds of crime and selling second hand goods without a licence.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Monday 31 October.
