A man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting a woman inside a home in Brisbane.
Police found the 23-year-old woman injured after being called to a home on Handford Road in Zillmere just after 11pm on Sunday.
The woman was treated at the scene for gunshot wounds before being taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Following investigations, police arrested a 22-year-old Wooloowin man around 8.30pm on Monday.
He was charged with one count each of attempted murder, unlawful use of motor vehicle, authority required to possess explosives, obstruct police, and damaging evidence with intent.
The man was also charged with contravention of domestic violence order, but police confirmed it does not relate to the woman that was injured in the incident.
He was denied bail and is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
