Man charged with committing sickening indecent acts in front of women, children

A MAN has been charged after allegedly performing two alleged acts of indecency in Sydney and Newcastle.

In the first incident, police say a 34-year-old woman boarded a train at Broadmeadow Railway Station around 5.30am on Wednesday 7 October, when a 32-year-old man sat near her.

The man allegedly committed an indecent act on himself in front of the woman.

The woman left the train when it arrived at Morisset Railway Station and reported the incident to officers from Police Transport Command, who began an investigation.

The second incident took place at about 9.30am yesterday morning at a playground at the intersection of Styles and John Streets at Leichhardt.

It’s alleged the same man stood in clear view of a 43-year-old woman and her two baby daughters, aged one and six weeks, and again, allegedly committed an indecent act on himself.

The man was arrested shortly before 5pm when officers attended the man’s Annandale home.

He was taken to Redfern Police Station and charged with two counts of commit act of indecency.

He was bail refused to appear at Parramatta Local Court via video link today.
