A BRAVE young woman, who went to Police to report indecent assault by a man when she was a child, has helped nab an alleged peadophile.
In August 2018, the now 18-year-old sparked an investigation led by the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad, amid claims she was assaulted as a child by a man known to her.
“During the investigation, three more women – aged 40, 41 and 59 – reported being sexually, indecently and physically assaulted by the man,” Police confirmed in a statement on Tuesday.

“Following extensive inquiries, detectives, with the assistance of the Public Order and Riot Squad, arrested a 56-year-old man at a Western Sydney home (on Monday morning).
“Police will allege in court that the man had sexually abused the four women on numerous occasions in Sydney’s south west between 1998 and 2005.
“It will also be alleged the sexual abuse of one of the women commenced when she was aged four.”
The man was charged with 14 offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, indecent assault person under 16 under authority and indecent assault where victim under the age of 10 years.
He’s also charged with sexual assault knowing no consent given, sexual intercourse without consent, and forcibly abduct woman with intent to carnally know.
The man was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Tuesday.
