Man charged with murder after body of heavily pregnant woman found in car boot
A man’s been charged with the murder of his pregnant partner, after her body was found stuffed in a car boot in Ipswich earlier this week.
The body of 31-year-old Kardell Lomas was found in the boot of a car, in the backyard of a Raceview home on Tuesday, December 10.
She was 24-weeks pregnant.
Police arrested a 36-year-old Raceview man on the night, and established a crime scene at the property.
He’s since been charged with murder, unlawful assault of a pregnant woman and misconduct with a corpse.
He’s due to front court in Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
