16yo Logan girl, who police believe was murdered, was pregnant with first child

UPDATE: THE family of a missing Logan teenger have revealed the 16-year-old was pregnant with her first child when she went missing.

Tiffany Taylor has been missing for over a month now.

60-year-old Rodney Wayne Williams was charged with her murder on Thursday night although her body is still yet to be found.

At a media conference on Friday, Tiffany’s sister made the startling revelation that Tiffany was 20 weeks pregnant.

“She was on her own to having her first child,” she told reporters.

“She was supporting her and her partner of four years — this is very out of character for her.

“I believe she out there somewhere and someone knows something,” she added.

Police have also released photos of a vehicle of interest in the investigation.

Investigators are looking for a mauve/purple 1995 Hyundai Excel with Queensland registration 649VFO which may have been in an industrial estate near Logistics Place at Larapinta.

Earlier, officers revealed that the 60-year-old man charged with her murder met her on an online dating site.

It comes after Tiffany was last seen around 11.45am on Sunday July 12, leaving a motel at Waterford West.

It’s alleged Williams met Taylor online, where she was offering sex for money.

The pair are reported to have met up on July 12.

Williams appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday charged with her murder.

Police are continuing to search for Tiffany’s remains. Anyone who may have information which could be of assistance to this investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
