A MAN has been charged with repeatedly raping his girlfriend and subjecting her to months of emotional abuse at a home in Sydney’s southwest.
The 23-year-old was arrested at a home at Chester Hill on Thursday morning after his 19-year-old partner came forward and detailed months of alleged abuse to police.
It’s alleged the man threatened to harm the woman and her family and raped her at least 16 times.

The offending allegedly occurred during the first four months of this year, between January and April.
The man has since been charged with 16 counts of sexual intercourse without consent, and one count each of sexually touching another person without consent and incite another to sexually touch without consent.
He was remanded in custody overnight on Friday and due to appear in Bankstown Local Court on Friday.
