Man charged with stealing 1000 pairs of women’s underwear

A man has been charged after more than 1000 pairs of stolen women’s underwear were found during a raid of his NSW home.

Police launched an investigation following reports of a theft at a hotel in Mascot on October 25, in which a man allegedly stole a bag of women’s underwear from a room.

Following extensive inquiries, detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Sutherland Street, Rosebery, where they allegedly found more than 1000 pairs of women’s underwear, bras, and swimwear.

A 37-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with break and enter house steal value (less than $60,000).

The Rosebery man was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court today.

Investigations will continue.
