Man critical, another stable after Sydney shooting

A MAN is fighting for life after being shot in the head during an early morning shooting in Five Dock.

Emergency services were called to a unit on East Street around 3.45am following reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived they found a man with a gun shot wound to his head and another man suffering a gun shot wound to his arm.


Both men were taken to Westmead Hospital; the man with the head wound is critical, the other is believed to be stable.

Officers are searching for two men seen running from the complex soon after the shooting.

Police have set up a crime scene while investigations continue.
