In what sounds like a stunt-attempt gone wrong, a man has suffered serious head injuries after being flung from a taxi in Queensland’s Whitsunday region.
Police say the 36-year-old ran out in front of a taxi in Cannonvale, just west of Airlie Beach, around 9pm on Friday.
He jumped onto the bonnet and climbed onto the roof before falling from the moving vehicle onto Waterson Way.
