Man critically injured in two crash on NSW South Coast

A MAN has been critically injured in a two-car crash on the NSW South Coast.

Police said a red Honda CRV collided with a red Honda Civic on Kalandar Street in Nowra around 1pm.

The male driver of the Honda Civic was rushed to Shoalhaven Hospital in a critical condition.

The female driver and male passenger of the Honda CRV were taken to the same hospital but with less severe injuries.

Their ages are not yet known.

A crime scene has been established and Kalandar Street has been closed in both directions between the Princess Highway and Wallace Street.

Police say local traffic diversions are in place.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who might have footage of the incident to come forward and contact police via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
