Man dead after alleged fight in NSW

A MAN has died following an alleged fight in Woolongong, NSW this morning.

Just before 6.00am, emergency services were called to Denison Street where they found a man seriously injured.

The man was taken to Wollongong Hospital, where he died a short time later.

A crime scene has since been established in Denison Street while officers investigate.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
