A man has tragically died after being crushed by a skid-steer loader in a horror accident on Queensland’s Darling Downs.
It happened on a property at Greenmount, 30 kilometres out of Toowoomba, just after 11am on Friday.
Queensland Ambulance Senior Operations Supervisor Stephen Johns said the machinery had fallen on the man.

It’s understood the loader fell from elevated stabilising tracks and landed on the man, causing horrific injuries.
Queensland Ambulance said the 66-year-old man sustained significant leg, chest and abdominal injuries.
Multiple ambulance crews and a rescue helicopter were dispatched to the scene to treat the man.
He was rushed to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a critical condition but sadly, the man could not be saved.
Police confirmed on Friday night that the man had died from his injuries.
It’s understood the man was performing mechanical work on the bobcat when the tragedy happened.
