Man dies after crashing car through front porch of Murwillumbah home

A MAN has died after a horror crash on the NSW far north coast on Monday night.

The driver appears to have lost control of his vehicle while driving along Ewing Street around 8pm before crashing into a guard rail and then into the front porch of a home.

Emergency services quickly rushed to the scene. Police officers and paramedics tried desperately to render CPR but the 59-year-old driver could not be saved.

The man was the only person in the car and thankfully nobody inside the home was injured.

The house did sustain minor damage in the incident.
